What kind of mileage do we get out of that filter. I am guessing it is not a washable type filter.
Looks like replacements are about $65 on Amazon.

I just installed the GMP CAI..Easy install...Drove the car to the dealership {about 15-20 miles} Never threw a code but I could tell it was slightly off calibration {I've got 4000 miles on the clock}...After the tune..WOW, what a difference ! The sound is amazing and just what the car needed..The seat of the pants meter feels quicker as well..Definitely a noticeable improvement..
Did anyone remove their air blocker after the install ??? Would it do any good ?? It appears the CAI is wide open now and I'm not sure if taking it off would make a difference...
Going a step further, I've seen the thread on the Velossa ram air..Even though it wouldn't attach to anything would using it to divert some colder air towards the intake have any merit ??

I agree, the GMP CAI with Tune definitely makes a difference... I'm VERY happy with mine!!!

(There are a LOT of naysayers out there that if it isn't "aftermarket it isn't worth a damn", but GM has a LOT of $$$$ to pay their engineers for "aftermarket" products...

I LIKE it AND my warranty is 100% intact... (After all, it is a Cold Air Inductions intake with a GM label on it!)

I'm in CA, got the tune and it sounds great and runs great...

However I put on my CAI at around 100 miles on the clock, so I never jumped on it prior to having the intake... But still love it! (And my warranty is intact!)
