I don't suppose you have PDR and had it running?? That would have tracked the temps all the way up to the incident.

No. 1le has always been manual only.

There's something going on here.

That’s why I got an M6.

well, at least you are consistent...tiresome as it is.

Embarrassing to see a fellow Texan making an ass of himself over the whole superior transmission syndrome. Hopefully you are a transplant.

I started using the Ignore List. It's very therapeutic.

I'm pretty pessimistic about dealer tech capability, but the fluid level needs to be up to FULL temp to properly assess trans fluid level. Hope they checked yours properly. (This method is noted in their instructions.....but do they do it when nobody is looking????)

Have to ask, did you look to see if the car sucked up some trash in to the coolers? that will make you run Hot.

You are in denial. The A10 has overheating issues during track use. Period.

Denial, or rational?? Others posted have posted about numerous track days in the A10 without issues & you have nailed it down as fact by c/p the OP. Gotcha.

How much time do you think GM spent at the ring' with this tranny?? The overfilling could be an issue, GM will fix it...the M6 has a launching issue, GM will fix it. Yet, you continue to damn the A10 on the track with no real factual evidence / repeatable data. Your shtick is getting old about the 1LE not being an A10, when Al O has already said they will make it (not called the 1LE simply due to tradition) if demand was there.

Why not simply wait till this A10 over heating issue becomes an epidemic & I will gladly retract...I have no problem eating crow, but this is not the Z06 heat soak / class action issue you seem so damn hell bent on making it at this point. How many are on the track without issues & you still pick up the ball & run claiming fact with what?? A couple posts??

Native Texan myself. Agreed.

I'm going to start talking about the rampant manual bog launch and how much of a failure that transmission is. Just to annoy some people.

Damn guys. No need to give fuel to the fire for all the people who want the ZL1 to be an overheating failure like the C7Z. Manual and auto, both are great cars for different preferred styles of driving. Damn.
