Do you all think the stock pistons would be good for a 150 shot assuming the tune and everything is good?

If I put in new pistons I want less compression so I can throw more boost at it. I like the idea that someone at ADM is working on the cylinder heads to decrease the compression a little there. I'm still thinking that eventually a 417 stroker kit and the Lingenfelter modified fuel system is going to be required to really use the boost all of these FI systems can make.... in reality at least $10K more than we paid for FI.
I am the one that had the head work done to lower compression, after much discussion with ADM, it just made sense and came in at 10.4:1. GM spent over 100,000 hours developing the new piston for LT1 and confident this is a sound decision.

Didn't we use head spacers or thicker gaskets back in the day???

Are the LT1 and LT4 combustion chambers identical?
Haha, dang, have not heard that in a while...yep, we use spacers to lower compression.
