If I'm wrong someone can correct me, that's just what I have noticed from all the pictures coming out. When paired with the quad exhaust, the diffuser has the different cutouts (of course) and is painted. I haven't seen a painted diffuser on the non-NPP Camaros.

It really looks sick if you get the black front splitter, it looks complete.

I think you are right, I did notice that the ss with npp at my dealer had the gloss black diffuser as well, but the stock that I've seen on video reviews is matte black.

that's definitely a big plus. the gloss black back compliments the glossy black front grill nicely

the NPP is definitely a must, and right now is a good time for it since it seems aftermarket companies are gonna offer upgrades that will allow your NPP to be louder than it already is and still control the volume with the NPP's software. I believe KOOKS is looking into it for sure, and Borla might do it as well... they did it for the corvette, so here's hoping they do it for the Camaro. wont be cheap tho, that's for sure.

So I have put the first 300 miles on my car and the NPP exhaust is way worth the money to me! I leave it in track mode as I love the sound. When you do stealth mode it is crazy quiet! I want to do kooks headers with x pipe so touring gives me track sound and track mode is just obnoxious until I can not stand it anymore. This has a gorgeous stock sound with npp and cannot wait to hear LT and cross pipe.

I didn't know this. So if I get the NPP, I can still in the future get something done and it will sound even deeper and better, but also give me the choice to go stealth!?

Because its either NPP of the performance exhaust from Chevy, but I LOVE how I can adjust the exhaust. Makes for dropping a date of at home easier. Same for sneaking away!

Correct, some a/m companies will be releasing a cat back that will plug into the OEM harness on NPP cars and it will offer you the same functionality as the stock NPP but with different sounds and potentially other advantages. Time will tell. If you order the car without NPP you won't have this option but you can always go with a single mode a/m exhaust on the future of you want. For me, $895 is definitely worth having the option in the future.

So far in the LT1 aftermarket world, heres a recap on who can tie into the mylink system for exhaust. This comes from Ben Herndon@weaponX......

"Corsa offers no option.
Borla does, but has had some CEL issues.
Akrapovic does, and I have it on my car (C7) and works perfectly."

NPP is the way to go Hands down . Like many have said they will be coming out with a aftermarket kit soon enough. nothing like raising some hell then shutting it down lol ... Worth every penny no doubt about it. check out the kooks video the stock NPP SOUNDS THE BEST WITH THEIR HEADERS.

I wish the NPP exhaust was available earlier in the 5th Gens. Had it been and mine came with it I would have not bought an aftermarket catback. The only thing that I don't like very much is that the 6th Gen NPP exhaust is a freaking huge muffler! The 5th Gens at least had two smaller mufflers, likely a lot less weight.

Go listen to one with the NPP, after you do I bet you won't be here asking this question. I would never think of NOT getting it.
