I traded in my 2014 C7 last week for a 1LE. Seems to be a theme here, lol!!!I had the red and black theme with the Vette, so I played it safe and ordered a red hot for the 1LE. This will be my first Camaro, as I had a c6, cz06 and the C7.
I had a z51 1LT Stingray and it was an absolute blast. It really does everything well! For me however, in the three years I had it I only put in 3,000 miles. It had turned into a garage queen and I couldn't stomach having a depreciating asset I wasn't using.
When the 1LE came out, I was intrigued. It really is a damn bargain for what your getting. Even up here in Canada, it's priced well! I ended up getting a fair trade in for my Vette, so it was time to move on and say goodbye.
At the end of the day, I had people tell me I was crazy to get rid of C7 for a Camaro. Maybe there right, maybe there wrong, but it's their own opinion. With the 1LE I got a beast I can use more often daily, something a little more practical, a lower inertest rate, lower monthly payment, a newer car with a new warrenty, and ended up getting a cheque from he dealer for $20K in the equity I had in the Vette. Not bad is say
Now if the factory would hurry up and build my car, I'd be set, ha ha!

I think he installed the OEM body color rock guards, I have the ZL1addons ones on my car if you want to see pictures of those too, they are pretty thin black plastic and actually blend in quite well and are very durable!

Good shot of fender hash decal...Looks like it matches the "satin" black mirrors more so than gloss black hood grilles or a gloss black body paint color would.

In my take, the various blacks used on the 1LE can be categorized as:

Gloss Black front grille and hood vents (and body on black car)
Satin black mirrors, splitter and blade spoiler (and hood hash decals)
Matte black hood
