ZL1 1LE @ Laguna Seca on Nitto NT01

So tried a set of Nitto NT01's as I could not get another set of Goodyear Supercar 3R's in time to make Saturday's event. The one and only advantage is that you can hammer them after half a lap as opposed to waiting for the Supercars to come up to temp. Supercar 3R's definitely feel stickier and will be going back to them after using up the NT01's. Please ignore the passenger comment in the video lol.

Yes, I've done this myself and the 315's fit perfect up front.

Thanks so much for sharing Ben! Makes me wanna cry seeing the blue skies and dry pavement while I’m drowning in Oregon. What a great group to drive with. So courteous! You’re doing all the passing. Nice driving!

The car will NOT pass a normal sound day. This just happened to be a 103db day though. In order to pass sound and retain full throttle capability by the sound booth you need to install some 90* bend muffler tips. Commonly known as "laguna tips". I had a set of these for my SS1LE.

A totally stock car exceeds decibel level?

Absolutely. Most do: GT3’s, Corvette, Viper, Camaro. Laguna Seca and Lime Rock are two of the lowest allowable sounds limits in the nation.

What is the point of this? Who doesn't love the sound of these things opened up?

We lucked out on the weather. It rained leading up to the event. Thanks!
