They were all over the 12.0-12.2 track day play by play. This supposedly happened yesterday and not a peep

Why?

What good does a speed shop get from having the fastest stock car regardless of brand? If anything they should sand bag it to make their work look like it boosted performance more. I hardly call 6 passes running all day and is changing tire pressure really altering the car?

Agreed, I would've ran a 12.5 and put a mild base tune on it and ran 11.8 and people would be all over my tunes.

You are correct that we have nothing to base it against so right now this is all we have to go by. I have fault with your reasoning as to why we should discredit it.

Do I want to see more tests, absolutely. This is the only one we can go on and I am not saying it will be the norm, I just don't see any reason to discredit it. What does LMR have to gain from having a fast stock car when they are in the market of making said car faster?

LMR just happened to be one of the first places to get their 2018 10A car. They tested it, so we can only go by the results they have so far

Not much available besides a tune, and it's likely very mild and a couple blower setups which we don't even know if they will be shipping anytime soon.

watch the video of the 12.02 pass, something odd happens as the car leaves...it jolts forward then appears to spin the tires and proceed to run a 12.0.

something is just strange with the launch
