i have the rs with the stock exhaust and a while back it got replaced because it was making a noise like horrible shit is not normal and now i took it to the dealer because it’s doing it again, hopefully something got disconnected this time and it’s nothing worse that they have to replace it .

has anybody here had this problem before ?

This may sound like a very stupid question but I just want to make sure.. are you sure you're not confusing this rattling sound for the sound that the car makes when switching to 4 cylinders? In V4 mode it will sound like its puttering and slightly rattling, but its completely normal and of course..this only happens when cruise at the same speed.

No bro it’s not normal and i’ve never heard that noise that u talking about , dude trust me i know about cars i’m even uncomfortable to drive my car like this because the ****ing noise it makes lol it’s not nice. I drive my car like i stole it so maybe that’s why it broke , i’m planning to get the ss exhaust cuz this stock one sucks

I have a 2LT RS, V6, stock exhaust also- the exhaust is way quiet for my taste but it makes no unusual or rattling sounds. I am going to get the Borla ATAK in about a year's time.

just came back from the dealer they have to replace the whole exhaust again , second time this happens in less than 5 months

tbh they have no idea , tomorrow they gonna check it out more but they say it could be a leak or something disconnected

+1, only thing I can think of unless it's literally coming apart somewhere in the system or a cat is disintegrating into the mufflers, which would be really REALLY odd.
