The mustang was originally and has been historically designed, developed and marketed for women.

So blaqwhole talking about mustangs being pushed on women is very believable. I have seen it myself as well.

Probably equal if not less work to do a stage 2 Procharger on an S550 than doing a cam swap and heads on an LT1. Maybe less than cam swap alone. But this is not about my car, let's stay on topic.

Edit: quick search on this site shows that cam install is close to twice the work as blower on S550 based on labor cost.

I would call simple bolt-ons things like CAI, Headers, IMs etc. I would agree with you though that a procharger is really pretty simple.

One of the first things my neighbor said about my GT was that it looked "kinda girly". I do think it looks nice. But it definitely has a feminine look to it. The Mustang and Challenger have more of a muscular badass look.

The P1SC H.O. kit is probably the most simple blower on the market. Well, that and maybe the E-Force. But calling forced induction a "simple mod" as he put it is a misleading. Like you said, simple mods are headers, intake, stuff like that. If it adds over 100 hp then it can hardly be considered simple.

I think at the end of the day we can all pretty much agree that this is going to happen.

1. The A10 and bump in power is going to put the Mustang closer to the Camaro in terms of straight line speed. Might be right there, might be slower, might be faster we don't know yet, but the A10 GT will close the gap some between the cars. m6 Cars should still be Camaro by a decent margin.

2. The SS will still hold the handling advantage, the SS 1LE will still easily outhandle the PP. The big unknown is the PP2, but I think most again agree that the Camaro will hold the performance advantage.

3. With the price being similar now, for the average buyer with no loyality it will most likely come down to tech, looks, interior and all that other subjective stuff.

look if the s550 was any good why did i sell it..
prefered to dive my hyundai so the pos had to go..nothing good to say about those mustangs..they dont even look good.
dreadful car..i was so happy when the dude buying mine drove off in it...i was relieved.

one ofthe most stupid things i ever did was trade it for the mustang..many of my friends tried to stop me lol

i'm saving hard right now for another camaro...maybe another 2013 next spring..we'll see
