Sorry I'm an engineer and all notes and programs I make have to be in all caps so I never think about taking caps lock off. Better?
But moving forward I was thinking about doing the ported IM and TB and doing a rotofab and E85, but would like recommendations on tuning this turd and would I benefit from installing a cam phaser limiter. still getting to know these new LT cars any advise would be awesome, don't want any mustangs sneaking past me on the highway. |

Ported IM/TB, RF CAI w/ dry filter, E85 will show substantial gains for sure. With how bad the TQ curve is though I am not sure which would be better for you. Ported stock or ported MSD. As far as tuning, what are you looking for? The phaser limiter is recommended by all the aftermarket cam manufactures.

No need to be sorry, all the info we all put forward in this forum helps us all and we gain knowledge. I know I have.
It's funny this CAP thing never bothered me and wonder how using CAPS is offensive? I just thought some people needed to because their eye site was bad. CAMAROOOOOOO................

You can build and tune for Torque. Just find the right products, a good shop and a Tuner with experience. GMs package is good. Need to see more results from those that bought it.

I am very excited about the new Holley EFI 105 TB, says u can adjust idle on it with out going into the computer. We will see. Then I will order bracket and cable for TB, just not happy with lag with tuner even trying to get rid of lag. Old days we would just get a stiffer spring for throttle control. Will need the Holley copo ECU to run the cable, and then activated the top row of injectors with new ecu. The final piece of the puzzle will be the NOS bracket for the tunnel ram. Will go no higher then total 750 hp because of stock fuel support. If I am around 550 to 600 hp with my build and add tops 150 nos shot I will be plenty happy and no need to go higher on NA build. My attempt at video update on build. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vxBYh8_JY_8

I am probably going to go with the stock ported, as far as tuning my tuner does not tune on a dyno and has no desire to do so. also he says not to go with E-85 because the gain will only be a few horsepower. So im not thrilled to go back to him. I was thinking about driving 5 hours to Chicago to get it tuned by Speed INC. unless someone knows of other options.

I was pretty lucky in regards to selecting a tuner. Got a good tuner and he is a nice guy. He works on GM LS/Lt1 engines mostly. Does both street and dyno tunes. Very knowledge. Any one in the BC and North West Washington area and looking for a great tuner I recommend him. No e85 in my area but I would do it if available because all that extra hp adds up. What I have read on here it looks like anywhere to 25 - 35 hp extra for e85. http://www.efituning.ca

JayB... time to move on. Tuner who refuses to use a Dyno and is mis informed about E85?
Say thanks for your time and run. I am far from an expert here but some things should be basic knowledge

E85 is worth a minimum of 25rw on these cars. At least at stock DCR it is. Tuning on the street vs. tuning on a dyno has its place. As long as you are using a WB. I do the street first and then the dyno to verify my numbers. Hardly ever to I gain more than 5-8rw on the dyno after a good street tune. The best is a track tune. But that is usually hard to coordinate.

81 is highest ive seen.
On the pump it says the range is 51 to 83. In winter months the ethanol content will be lower depending on location. |

77% is the best I have seen. If I want 85% I have to spike it.
