Baseline is so important.
...Maybe your baseline would have been around 380???
I can't see a gain of 40 to 50hp from heads and cam.

That's for safety inspections. Counties still needing to comply with EPA directives will continue to have emission inspections. 'Course if they (we) would give up the federal teat, we could get rid of those too.

The stock CAI is killing you at this level. I am sure you would see 15+rw with a RF. A ported IM/TB would show good gains also. You could have another 25+rw on the table with a ported IM/TB and RF w/ Dry filter. E85 is your last/next best mod. Best case is that there is another 40-50rw left in this car.

I am assuming this is pump gas. But since you are M6 you are in the 1:1 gear. Your graph is exactly what I have been talking about in this thread. The cam is a mismatch for the heads and there was basically a loss of a full point of compression. So your TQ numbers took a huge hit. The 450rwhp number wouldn't be bad if this was an A8 in 5th on pump. On almost any DJ M6 cars put out over 400rwtq stock. Unfortunately the bigger kick in the nuts is that these numbers are STD which are about 10rw higher than SAE that we are all used to seeing.

Do you know if your tuner logged Cam Phaser timing? I also wish you had and RPM graph as well that we could look at.

I am not trying to be a downer. Just trying to help with an honest assessment. I guess you could also look at the clutch and rear to ensure you aren't loosing anything there. We will have to wait and see how these other GM builds turn out to completely pass judgment on this combo.

I PRETTY MUCH KNEW I WOULD BE GIVING UP SOME POWER WITH THIS COMBO BUT IT SOUNDS GREAT AND THE DEALER IS STILL COVERING EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE EXHAUST UNDER WARRENTY. PRAY ARE YOU STILL DOING PORTING ON THE IM/TB IF NOT WHO IS. AND I WILL PROBABLY GO TO E85 I DROVE AROUND THIS WEEKEND AND THERE ARE 5 STATIONS CLOSE TO MY HOUSE THAT HAVE IT

Why does the fuel look leaner midrange than it does up top?

Pray, am I seeing this right?

Yes, I am still porting IM/TB's. I should have a couple sets ready in a week or two.

The fuel looks about right to me. Definitely not on the safe side. I guess you could fatten it up in the middle a hair and lean it out a hair up top but I am sure your tuner set it to where it made best power. Not sure what spark timing is in it or if he adjusted all the needed tq tables to make the best power.

It depends which hot cam you select. I selected the 376/535 sp hp cam and head package.

As per card and gm performance catalog.

Sorry, I was referring to Bradford cam. Not the GM cam.
