I received my private offer through the mail; $3000 off 2017 Camaro.

I've been working with a local dealer for a '17 2ss M6 MRC NPP SF.

They're saying you can't even use GM Supplier discount with the $3k private offer.

The offer replaces everything else and is standalone.

Anyone else hearing that?

When did you get yours ? I don't think that is a standalone private offer.

It clearly says on the offer posted above: "negotiate your best price, then top it with this offer". I dunno, but that sounds pretty clearly to me that it's not a standalone. Some dealers suck though, I'm pretty sure it's up to them to honor it or not.

Isn't supplier discount directly from GM? It's not part of the negotiation with the dealer.

Not according to a GM chat I had today. I've edited out my name and address. The rest is a faithful transcript of the chat session with the gm.com chat agent earlier today.

it was just sent out. Made a dealer an offer of $3k below MSRP on a '17 ZL1 and they took it. Then told them about the private offer. They looked it up and said it was good for another $3k off. Working the deal now.
