M6 V6 here... always in sport mode. Tour mode doesn't have enough steering weight for my liking. Both Tour and Sport mode have the same throttle response.

Safety is the key here, wet = care for others on the road and yourself. I paddle my pony mostly and with 3.55:1 gear the throttle response is amazing.

Can you use the custom settings and put the car in touring suspension but sport for throttle, steering, and NPP?

Sport 100%...but I do put the NPP in tour mode using the touch screen....my main reason is the A8 wont go into performance mode while in touring....I'm addicted to the downshifting these automatics do once you get it into performance shift mode.

M6 2SS here. Exhaust in Track, Steering in Tour, Suspension and Throttle in Sport.

V6 Mr... Mine is always in sport mode. I think the only thing that changes between sport and touring on the manual is the steering wheel feel, but it's not much of a difference.

Sport or Track. Maybe when I'm 70 I'll use tour mode.

I typically leave it in tour mode. I've learned to accept the mushy throttle at this point and manipulate it with my foot now that I got the hang of it. I consider myself a mostly laid back driver although I do take some hard turns every now and then.

If I'm going to be on a nice and curvy highway, or if I'm cruising with the group, I'll throw her into Sport mode. I do notice that the gearing is a wee bit more aggressive and throttle tip in is SLIGHTLY better. Still mushy though. I haven't properly used Track mode yet except for the drive home where I barely knew how each mode felt to begin with. Then when it's raining I throw it into snow mode, I just feel like it's the safer option for some reason. Maybe it's my paranoia.

In response to the gearing. I love how this thing is geared. In my G35 I'd be hitting 3K+ on a freaking 75-80MPH cruise. I'm afraid to go any faster because cause this engine will probably start red-lining by the time I get to 90MPH. It's basically sitting right in the power band already and a fourth gear drop is go time right away. I feel a whole lot more comfortable in the Camaro where it's only at 2K with a plethora of gears to play with whether it's a small passing procedure or balls to the wall.

Always in sport mode; it tightens up the steering

I keep it in sport all the time because in tour mode the steering wheel is too floaty for me.
