Maggie custom tune????

Hello,

Have a Maggie on my 16 SS Vert. I only had the Maggie stock tune installed. Being that I live in the nanny state of CA where I can do little else with mods I am thinking of having the car dyno tuned to get some more out of it and improve the shift points in track and sport modes.

Has anyone done this? What did you get?

Any other thoughts on how to get a little more pep?

Are there any remote tunes that will get me there without the need to go get on a dyno?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I just went through this. Assuming yours is an auto, I would do a dyno tune. that way they can monitor and get the fuel/air just right. the canned tuned from Maggie was pretty good out of the box, however my experience with that was that soot or to much of it was dumping more fuel than it should. Maggies version of being conservative. after the dyno and installation of my rotofab I was able to gain pretty good numbers. But quite frankly, my whole notion was the air/fuel to get it just right. I wanted to make my car happy, not to lean, and not to rich.

I noticed the same thing with the soot, stock Maggie tune must be real rich

Do some more mods, just covert it back a bit for smog when its time.
