The morning was wet... Regardless a 137.9 or whatever he ran is crazy fast.

I still can't figure this car out, some corners it was pushing like mad, and others it was loose and I was fighting the tail. I don't know if it was the track conditions, my driving style (most likely), or the cars set up. Strange...

We had a really great turn out too from Camaro's. Myself and 3 other Camaro6 members were there (two 1LE's and a ZL1). Along with two Z28's, a v6 1LE, and a couple of regular SS's. We played around, so hopefully some of them have some good footage.
Had a great time at Laguna w/ Sean, Rob (Ominous) and others. It was foggy and wet in the morning but afternoon was pretty good but slippery. Sean was flying, I put down quite a few 1.41's and one high 1.40. I was blackflagged once for sound, so had to short shift up the hill from T5-T6 so lost a little bit there. Looking forward to getting some Re71r's and more time on this track. Next time I will have pipes to pass sound.

Chasing Sean on this vid, then Rob (Ominous) passes when a Miata holds me up, chasing Rob, then he gets black flagged.

Ya I have a feeling I will
The only question will be whether to keep her all stock and run stock tires (and possibly also try RE71Rs), or blow more $ on 19s rims and go with more sticky rubber. Surprised that those running NT01s haven't said a peep yet...

I've gotta say: it is absolutely amazing to see THAT many Camaros on track at the same time. And boy oh boy they are all "cookin' with gas!" lol!

Yes Indeed, I had a series of 1:39's on Friday which was just beautiful, sunny and 70 degrees..the car is MEGA at Mid Ohio! Friday afternoon after the track went cold I dismounted the RE71R's to mount up new DBA rings to the OE hats (thanks glamcem for the info), and unfortunately found that one of my front RE71R inside shoulder was corded. I brought my 18" wheels also, but I didn't want to add heat cycles to track tires before I was familiar with the car at Mid-O.

Here is an the 2nd to last session before finding that one of my front tires was corded. Needless to say.... in our application at least- RE71R's grip till they cord!!!

Yes and no- I ran them in 6 events (3 events as only tires) and 3k-ish road miles including a trip to NC through tail of the dragon! No complaints here.

"events" as in "days"?
