Glad you finally started the beast Brett. It's gonna be a killer build.
Thanks Nick, I didn't read your post before I answered Rob's, you got it.
The correct fill, I'm still playing, haven't figured that out yet. Just glad (after 3 weeks) to start it. But screwed up on the wiring...lol. In a hurry to hear it.

Well, family dust is settling. I'll be able to get back to finishing. Next step, remove lid and inspect. Since the one failed SC, I'll take a look at mine (easy Job).
Then it's repair horn bracket, fix MAP harness, little more run time, put it together (fascia, splash guard, etc)

Brett,
By chance do you have a copy of the installation manual? I've email Whipple for it but haven't received it yet. Trying to determine the proper procedure for removing air from the system. Can send it to janrascals@gmail.com if you have a soft copy of it.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I have the most recent, revised, however it doesn't say much. What I did was jumper replay, 30 and 87 term. and let it run. I don't know if thats right (as per Whipple)...lol. But it worked to bleed air out. I let the pump run for some time.
I'll dig the instruction up and send if you'd like (not much good) Let me know

Well I took a stab at it and got a bunch of air that was in it out. Not really sure on what you were saying so I took off the cap (which had a bit of pressure when removed). Filled it up, squeezed the hoses to pull out some air. Then left the cap off and had the wife start the car which then more air came up and then water came to the top so I had here turn it off and filled it up again. I repeated those steps until I saw no more air coming up.

I found this in their installation manual which was very informative I thought.

Great, I hadn't seen that, but I did a static run (that's were the car is NOT running) and power the water pump to bleed the air.
My problem now is fitting the fascia to the fenders. I probably didn't see it or when the idiots (factory) didn't fit it right. OR the dealer didn't fit it (recall) I have expectable fit (not great) on right side. I'll work on the left tomorrow. Still waiting on Whipple to tell me what they want to do with the rattle.

Absolutely agree about the "Not Running". I just wasn't able to get that information until after I "After" I received the installation manual. All good though. The running was momentary to get the air out and did the job as well. However, as per the manual, I'll be checking it periodically for air in the future. Thanks again and I hope they get you a fix like Rob's.
