It's not something that manufacturers normally publish. But they do have that information. Production managers use the information to keep up with trend data for supply ordering, and the product managers use it to predict production figures for parts/models, etc as they develop pricing schedules. But it isn't displayed in a way that would be of any interest to us.

So it requires an enthusiastic individual within to find the time to access, review, and compile the data for us to read about things like colors, manual/automatic, 1LE options, convertibles/coupes, etc...

Luckily, the Camaro team is filled with such enthusiastic people - so we just need to be patient, as it's a volunteer project for them.

My guess would be under 2K, and the Autos are less then half of that. The dealership I work at had 5 allotted and got 2 autos for the 17 cycle. GM says they will produce as many as you can order, but that is a lie. They basically tell the dealerships what they can order and X amount of cars must be in X configuration.

There are 4200 dealerships. Let's say 1800 ZL1 were produced. Not every Franchise got a ZL1.

Just from my searches on cars.com and GM global most popular is blue, white , black and red hot ..

With green, artic blue, garnet red and believe it or not silver the not so common .. silver and artic seem to be the least common not counting green.

Thing is that 80% or better of the cars are retail sold "ordered"

Guess we will know in a few months how it pans out.

Just happy I was able to get a garnet red one

I just walked into a dealer to check one out, not planning on buying one to be honest. They had a black one there with a sunroof, didnt look so hot without the reverse mohawk. I was walking out and the salesman said come in the back, I have one without a sunroof. Walked in the back, saw the BLUE, said to myself, gotta have it!!!

Told the salesman, YUCK blue, no thanks.........
Paid almost 5k under sticker...
