Ok, stepping off MY soap box now, no drugs, just some Coronas...lol
HAHA... Nice. Say no to drugs. I just setup my camper and just sitting back with a little Woodford Reserve. Beautiful weather here in Va Beach.

YA, lived in Newport News back in the 80's, no work north (ohio)
Anyhow, now "WE" all wait. I'm going back to researching, I liked the Whipple because of the lower operating heat. E-force, and Maggie are Eatons (root, more heat) Procharger, Vortec, take up a lot of room under the hood. I don't know??
Maybe shit can them all and just drive it, F-it, I'm getting drunk, hammering these puppies....lol

ENJOY, OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES

Just got this Email, after my F-U Email, copy and pasted (no edit)

Brett. 1) this is a new kit. It is not a standard production kit like the Gen 5 Camaro at this point. That means that it does not roll into the standard lead time of 6-7 weeks. Yes, our standard lead time for ALL PRODUCTION kits is 6-7 weeks right now. With a NON-PRODUCTION kits like the new Gen 6 Camaro, we have to fulfill PRE-PRODUCTION orders before new orders. We started taking orders (not payments) back in September 2016 and started shipping some kits in late February 2017. That is 5 months’ worth of pre-ordered kits to ship prior to new kits. 2) Whipple does not have YOUR money. Phastek has your money because that is where you ordered the kit. Not direct through Whipple. 3) other manufactures like Edelbrock and Magnusson may be able to supply within 2 weeks. I am not sure. What I do know is other dealers are calling me, and placing orders with me, because they can’t get their order from these manufactures. Also, they do not have the potential that the Whipple has with the more efficient, larger displacement, lager intercooler system.

We appreciate your patience thus far and hope that you will be just a bit more patient and we will get your order shipped as soon as it comes up in line. Looking at the list, it looks like yours is in the next batch to get built and shipped next week

Thumbs up

Hey guys,

Just wanted to jump in on the Whipple situation. The new kit has been a bit of a production challenge for Whipple and the are working as best as they can to get all the kits shipped and taken care of.

I have talked to Whipple about the situation and they did apologize for the extended delay with some of the orders. As stated in some previous posts their time frame is currently 6-8 weeks right now and each kit is built to order.

I know there are a few customers that we have on the forum and possibly in this thread that we have your orders. I would just like you all to know that with us we like to stay on top of these orders as best as we can. All shipping and order status ETA's are given as best as possible and they are from Whipple directly.

I will say this about Whipple products, you will not be disappointed once its all said and done. Their systems have proven to provide some of the best power gains and results that are out there with a bolt on kit. The efficiency their systems provide are some of the best.

I hope this helps with anyone that has thought about purchasing a Whipple.

Thank you,
Ricardo

I see so many vendors on this forum and some are dealers and others are the actual manufacturers.. Why no Whipple manufacturer? My initial thought was that Whipple is mainly known for Ford and Dodge if I'm not mistaken. Don't get me wrong I know they have done everything over the sun... including boats. But are they considered new to the Chevy scene? Or am i mistaken?

I think whipple should do some customer service and either knock a few bucks off for the wait or throw something in. Any place else would be making concessions if they had this long wait and failed delivery experience.

I'm biting my tongue real hard when I say this is a complete bullshit response. You quote four to six weeks, you ship in said time. A leadtime to garner orders followed by rolling promises is not acceptable. At one day over the promise date I cancel and there will not be a "restocking fee". Phastek is great to work with, this is a Whipple customer service issue.
