Hello all,
Finally on the Forum. I have a factory order on a 2017 SS 1LE. It is showing build date of week of 24 April. I have read lots here. I am soon to be 69 years old, a Canadian Armed Forces veteran and I feel like a kid waiting for this car.
Just wanted to introduce myself.

Oh! Almost forgot. My car is Garnet red.

Welcome! If I could have found one for the right price in Garnet red, I would have bought it, but I have Silver Ice.... Congrats and it will be beautiful!

I also ordered a 1LE in hyper blue. The build date is the same week as yours. Hopefully it doesn't take long to get to the dealers. Can't wait!!

Ordered it with the PVR, so if that happens, they can talk about my last moments at the funeral.
Actually this is my second Camaro. I had a 2014 SS Convertible. I didn't like it because of the auto transmission and the sound wasn't that great. So I sold it privately and ordered this one.
You are never too old to have fun!! Something like this keeps you young. I am into 3d printing, restoring antique airplane models, learning music and all kind of stuff.

I won't be around from the 23rd May till 14 June. Travelling east. I bet my car will show up when I am away. Dealer says he will put it in the show room waiting for me. I have been looking for a long time and I am amazed as how few SS 1LE's are for sale. Basically none!!

I am researching the forum about the "Skip Shift 1 to 4th" fix that I hear about. I am not even sure if this affects Canadian made for cars.

Also here I found that I will need some rock guards back of those big tires.

That kind of stuff. Can't wait for the summer fun!!!

I think it was around the 7th March

I'd tell him to lock it up and put it in a quiet place.
The showroom floor just means there's going to be a bunch of fingerprints on the paint and buttcheeks in the seats.
I'm far to anal to have to be worried about someone leaning on it and scratching it before it gets delivered.
