Magnetic Ride Control opinions

Thinking of upgrading to the 2018 production year...

After some time in the drivers seat, what do owners think of the MRC suspension?

I really like the MRC option in my '16 SS. Well worth the extra cost!

I feel the same way. It is nice to have the ability to pick between letting the Tour setting soak up some of the bumps in the road then move it to Sport/Track when it is time to have fun.

Responds well to mild suspension upgrades too.

There is a terrible bump near us that is like a curved ramp up to a peak followed by a small drop and then level road. There is not a car that I have followed across it that is not unsettled by this bump. The Camaro MRC suspension works it like magic.

100% worth the price! I travel 200 miles twice a month and love to put it in tour and cruise the whole way there. Then on my drive home from work I can put it in track or sport and feel more connected to the road.

It's amazing how fast the car recovers going over bumps with this suspension.

This being my first Camaro, I was a bit "naive" going into my Order. MRC was about the only option I did not get. Once I found out about it, it tried to add it to my Order but the car was just built the prior week.

Yes, I would have gotten it - for the many reasons listed above........

I love it. The only downside is that I can't switch to coilovers without disabling it which is something I would do if I didn't have MRC

The car dealer said it really wouldn't make a difference. I completely disagree. If you really enjoy pushing your car through the twisties, then it is mandatory. You will find that your car performs much better in sport than in track on roads with bumps and in lower speed twisties with good surfaces you will be able to load the outside tires more effectively utilizing the suspension. During high speed 70+ cornering on good surfaces the track mode will keep your car tracking flatter and allow you to use tire sidewall deflection to acquire outside tire grip. Get the MRC!

Can't really say there is a huge difference between touring & sport on normal road condition but it definitely helps on track when you are pushing.

Thanks for the response. I have always wanted a car with active suspension, now i may have a chance to get one.
