Good choice man - Buyer Remorse goes both ways. V8 will lead to harder driving, more tickets, more expensive tires, More money in gas, More money in mods, Higher theft rates, Higher insurance Rates, So to all those saying v8 or nothing live in a much different world then some of us.
I test drove over 35 different cars before purchasing the Camaro - The camaro wasnt even on my radar. Actually went to the dealer to drive an ATS-V and he suggested I try the Camaro. I test drove V8 and V6 I know myself and I know my habits when it comes to self control and if I had purchased the V8 not only would my pocket book regret it but I would have regretted it as well. So good Job OP not succumbing to the whole V8 or bust logic. You will enjoy your car I have put 25k miles on mine already. |

Very well said Dusty. After reading the posts here, I considered looking at the SS again, so went and test drove for the third time. I just couldnt convince myself the extra cost worth it, or even practical with my driving style and what I want to use the car for. If I was going to ride only on the weekends and for fun, like I ride my Harley, I would go and buy a Convertible SS. But I am gonna drive this one every day. I have zero remorse with the choice I made. Not only that, I encourage anyone who has doubt about V6 go and choose that one over SS if that's their daily driver. |

The SS (especially manual) is a not very practical car whatsoever. Mine is not my daily driver so it's perfect in my situation.
The V6/2.0T is a great car and makes a fun daily driver with good looks. Everyone situation is different so congrats on the purchase OP. Do you have the 8" screen as well? |

Congrats, on the new ride... you'll love it for years to come. I'm not sure that I'll answer your question about the interior lighting correctly because I do not know all the features that your car has installed. That said, one way to handle the brightness is to turn the cabin lighting down, the brightness control is located on the dashboard (left-hand side) of the steering wheel. I have mine set at about 3/4 to the maximum brightness and that seems to work during the day and isn't blinding at night. I do the same for the HUD, you'll find a balance that suits your needs and preferences. Best of Luck!
