Jba headers

Stumbled across these on Maryland speeds site. Has anyone installed these or know of the brand? Just curious

I installed a set of their ceramic coated headers on my old 4.3 Xtreme. They seemed to have been built well the best that I remember.

Personally I would spring for a coated set. No one wants to pop their hood and see rusty headers in a few years.

Yeah. I'm not sure that I'll even go with them. But if I did would the titanium coated be better. I think that's what it was called

Both Jdp and rdp list hooker LT headers as well. About 1k for them ( catless) They're 2 piece so installation should probably be really easy! I so badly wanna do the budget ones too, but I want a matching exhaust (for ease of installation). I don't care for the look of the hooker Catback.

Definitely more options than we think, if you look around!

Here's the hookers: http://www.rdpstore.com/p-7545-2016-...1326-rhkr.aspx

I'm mostly hesitant about them because it doesn't list what grade of stainless steel it is? If it were 304 like the others I might be more willing to try them! (Not that I know what the grades are or what's best, but if it was what everyone else used it would be more reassuring. Probably is but I wish it listed it. Lol)

JBA has been around forever. I'd trust them if you're worried about their quality.

I had JBA on my last 5.0 Mustang. They held up very well & the fit was good. I had that car for 11 years with them on.

+1 on JBA quality- had a set on my 5th gen 3.6 LLT that was supercharged and put out tremendous heat. The headers never blinked- no color change (ceramic coated) or any adverse effect to this day.

That exhaust ran so hot after a bad mod at an exhaust shop, I thought I could drive the 1.5 miles home with the exhaust tips touching the plastic at the rear and then fix it- it melted the plastic before I got home. But the JBA's were never fazed.

I talked to Maryland Speed when I bought headers...

He told me "Yeah they're on the site but I have yet to see a set in person... but I keep hearing 'they're coming' - So take that for what you will"

I ordered Kooks instead, not trying to wait for months.

Thanks for all the replies! That's reassuring on the quality, not so much on availability! I guess we'll see what happens when the time comes!
