I was right at 2K for a couple mufflers, x-pipe and secondary cat delete. Worth every penny to me.

What you are really paying for is the engineering, the Borla set up is loud when you want it to be, it can be mild when you want it to be (cruising at a highway speed) and it doesn't drone. It's not much more than some of the other NPP options out there (SW, Magnaflow, Hooker, ect) and many of those systems have drone problems.

It's not that Borla is ridiculously priced above the competition, all of the exhausts for our car are really expensive especially if you want the NPP valves or mid-pipes that have the AFM valves in them.

I honestly loved my stock NPP system when I first bought it, loved how it sounded compared to the dual pipe and although I've had my fare share of sports cars in the past, I had been driving an Audi A4 for the 6 months before the Camaro so just about anything was going to sound loud. After a month or 2 of adjusting to the NPP and hearing other peoples exhaust set ups, that's when I realized I needed an upgrade. I don't feel like I wasted any money on my S-type and mid-pipes, it was definitely worth every penny, it's not just the sound, but the way it growls and feels... it just brings the whole car to life.

I say this all the time, but keep your eye out for a used one, you can save a lot, check craigs, ebay, and the forum. People are sometimes trading cars in or maybe trying something else out and you can strike a bargain.

Same here. No better sound and zero drone. Put it in Stealth Mode and its just about as quiet as stock. Track mode will break your ears.
