Anyone paint the inner wheel wells?

Not sure if this has been covered and I did a search.

Anyone paint the inner rear wheel well? I am not crazy about the inner wheel wells material. I know it was selected because of weight, but it collects dust and dirt really clings to it more then a smooth surfaces. You can't wipe it down and make it look super clean.

I am thinking of taking them down and spraying them with a gravel guard flat black. What do you think of the wheel wells?

Mine collects dirt/mud & doesn't easily wash off also. I've never had a car with the wheel liner material like this though. I've never considered adding a coating to it.

Do you have a link to the coating you are considering?

I think spraying this rug type material is going to be a mess… A lot of new cars are using this material these days , it is the same as the Corvette.

GM uses that material for sound deadening.

I wouldn't recommend that.. I think your going to end up with something that chips and looks bad.. Just my thoughts.

This material is more for sound deadening more then anything.

First place I saw it was my wife's 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee as well. I just hand wash it with soap and warm water, they still look new.
