I've used it before, but really acetone and alcohol should make the VHB stick really well. Any of the 3 should work fine.

Get some Meguires scratch x 2.0 at any auto parts store, a quick rub with this will polish the paint and reduce paint imperfections.

So, had this delivered today. The tube was empty. :( So, not sure exactly what to do. It was clearly stolen. Guess I'll call them and see if they can do anything.

The way mine way packed i can see it falling out at some point in the shipping if they did the same. The first one i received the package/tube it was sent in was broke in the middle and showing the roof wing. The size was too short anyhow so they made good and paid for return postage and i taped it up best i could and sent it back. The second one came the same way in a two piece taped up crappy tube that was broke as well. Luckly it was the correct size. I think they will send you a new one and not argue after the way they pack things you can throw in your two cents.

It didnt stick though to my windshield, I had to bend quite a bit at the edges and the tape wouldnt hold no matter how hard I pressed. I had to remove it and I'll try again with fresh VHB.

Did anyone use the glue promoter? I didnt notice they shippped it until I was throwing the tube away.

My roof spoiler came off/up on both sides after 2 days in my garage even with alcohol prep and all that. (Cold NY weather is the culprit and me just being impatient) I haven't placed it back only used new .3mm 3M tape 2 strips as it was and will redo when the weather gets a bit hotter so it can cure properly. As for the adhesive i must have missed that in the box or something, i would have used it. worst case goo gone and or a razor will get it off if need be. The tape they used came off too easy and the color was more of a grey rather then darker black 3M i have now. All and all its a great buy for the price and any imperfections are not noticable really.

When I got mine, the tube was also cracked twice, I took pictures of immediately sent it to the vendor ......I got a message back that they were changing their packaging… I hope that's the case.

Well, I emailed them. I'll see what happens. I really would like to have the spoiler and at $38 I'm not opposed to order another, but a little gun shy at this point.

Didn't happen. Mine came yesterday and the tube was cracked in two places and bent. One bend was so bad I thought the thing was broken until I got it out of the packaging.

They said they are changing, but didn't say when....

Mine arrived this week with the tube broken in the middle, but the spoiler was ok.
