Android Auto troubles

My AA suddenly won't send a text. It will read received ones. It will even prepare a text and read it back to me, ask if I want to send it, but it will only juggle the "thinking balls" and never send.

I've tried connecting phone to wifi, car not moving, screen not locked.....everything that I can think of.

I am guessing that this started when either Samsung galaxy s7 active was updated, at&t software updated, or AA app updated.

I've looked for settings, but all permissions on phone are set correctly

anyone have this issue?

Try clearing the cache for the AA app, force stop and reboot the phone.

If the above doesn't work, also try unpairing the phone and a full reboot on it.

I would reinstall Android Auto on the phone and erase bluetooth pairing on both the car and phone. ROM updates can wreak havoc sometimes.

I've done the phone reboot a couple of times. It worked this last time. I'm hoping that it continues. I drive a lot...

thanks for the suggestions
