Fwiw, I was was getting this 4 or 5 times a week when I bought the car in late dec. Affects HVAC, lighting, and driving mode settings. Mine was just as common to occur with remote start as it was with button. I tried to find a pattern, but was very random when it presented. I disconnected the battery and put it on a trickle charger overnight. It has only done it once in the last three weeks- and that was yesterday. Waiting for a fix!

There is no rhyme or reason to why and when it happens other than it is more likely to occur when using remote start feature. It's rather annoying so I hope they fix it eventually.

I had my car in the shop for a few issues, including this one, back in October. My dealer said they installed an update that should fix the issue. It did not glitch any in November that I noticed but I did not drive it very much before I parked it for the winter. In looking at the invoice the radio was reprogrammed with SPS. Tech performed a radio update with the new calibrations to see if the concern goes away.

Fuse pull fixed the MyLink screen issue for a member here. When I get a chance I will try and find that thread.

Hi, anyone heard an update on this 'once in a while' issue?

My HMI unit blew a few weeks back and was replaced but I still get a blank HVAC display on the screen when adjusting HVAC settings - this only happens after a remote start a majority of the time - any new info from anyone who has been discussing with GM would be very much appreciated! Thanks, Edd
