Does it have magnetic ride control? I would rather have that then 6 piston brakes. That seems pricey to me unless you plan on racing your car but even still the 4 piston brakes work great with ceramic brake pads but I dont race my car either.

I think you could do better IMO. Especially since that's a 2016 and you will basically be buying a 2 year old car at this point.
Also are you planning on tracking the car? I don't see a purpose of the 6 piston upgrade if you are only daily driving it. If you do buy that car make sure you get the stock wheels and stock brakes as well. |

So it was dealer ordered and customized the way it is currently. I doubt they will surrender the stock setup. The only thing I desired while I was looking was the MRC. But wanted to know at this price wether I should overlook the MRC due to the deal. Otherwise I can get a 2017 with MRC for $42,400 plus fees!

A "deal" is dependent on many things. Keep in mind that while something is discounted, you can still be spending money on something unnecessary. MRC will make a bigger difference in your experience than the brakes. Besides, you can always add the brakes later...you cannot add MRC. |

If you can get it for 40-42k I'd do it. $44k is a little high considering what the 16's were selling for a couple months ago.

Well I guess I will have to go back to the drawing board. Maybe I'll get a 1LE I test drive a silver one yesterday felt good although I didn't feel a difference between the magnetic ride and the non-MRC. 1LE at a local dealer here is $40,930 plus tax and fee

MR is going to be most noticeable when a) you go over a rough road...and b) you're on the track.

Bingo!!! I only regret not having it when im on rough bumping roads going over railroad tracks or pot holes. So i opted on the vert and said i dont need MRC..Im not tracking the car. Sometimes I wish i got it but i love having the convertible in Socal....Its all up to what u willing to pay for and that gold glowing bowtie, You can get cheaper else where too. I would ask them to upgrade the sway bars at least or something if u going to buy the ss. Look just get u that 17 1LE ...You wont look back i can almost guarantee it. That car is nice in black.

$43K is 17% off MSRP.
For comparison, I bought a 2016 vert for 19% off sticker in September, which was 5 months ago. Not a deal in my book. I would not budge for anything over $40K before taxes / fees. |
