Ya I see your point I can tell ya that eldelbrock is a lot biget than maggi or procharger. . I have car number 20 something. . Got it 2015 Dec 1 when I got the car on All Girls Garage procharger and maggi turned down the chance to have a car promoted becasue of the add fee to velocity channel eldelbrock all ready had 2 test cars.. going by past experience with them and being ale to talk to a human in minutes vs maggie using some type of crap email system for an answering goes a long way.. something else to consider. Procharger was also more difficult but a lot better than maggi when I reached out. Honestly if it hadn't been free I would of bought something else.. that's going off the out put of the LS3 setup.. but now that the LT1 is better.. I would buy it or recommend it..

Now you're asking me to find a claim for a blown engine that was turned down over a period of 1 year, the same year the gen6 was released. While I could never possibly have access to all of that data, I can probably count the number of Eddlebrock supercharged 2016 Camaros on one hand. Has anyone even blown their engine on a 2016 Camaro yet running an Eddlebrock supercharger??? I would turn this question back to you since you're singling them out and they sponsored your build. Can you bring us a person who has had their engine blown where it was fully covered so they can tell us how it all went? Since you're focusing on Eddlebrock, this is from their warranty that I downloaded when I was shopping for a blower. The only way that someone is ever going to see the full payout is if ALL of these things happen at the same time...AND they make it past all of the outs below. How many people are really going to get a supercharger and literally live to the letter of this agreement? Edelbrock, LLC’s maximum liability per covered vehicle over the term of this warranty is limited to $16,500 which represents the total of the individual component group’s liability as follows: engine components are covered to a maximum of $12,500, transmission components are covered to a maximum of $2,500, and rear axle components are covered to a maximum of $1,500. THIS WARRANTY COVERS ANY DEFECTS IN OUR MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP AS WELL AS ANY FACTORY EQUIPMENT NOT COVERED BY THE FACTORY WARRANTY IF DEEMED THE DAMAGE WAS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE INSTALLED E-FORCE SUPERCHARGER; ALL OF WHICH IS VOID, IF THE DAMAGE IS RELATED TO OR ARISING FROM THE: USE OF FUEL WITH OCTANE RATING LESS THAN 91 (R+M)/2, OR 93 IF SPECIFIED. IMPROPER INSTALLATION, ABNORMAL OPERATION, ABUSE, NEGLECT, LACK OF MAINTENANCE OR LACK OF FLUIDS, OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM A COLLISION. OPERATION OF SUCH AN IMPAIRED VEHICLE WILL VOID THIS WARRANTY. THE VEHICLE OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING NO FURTHER DAMAGE OCCURS ONCE A PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED. COVERED COMPONENTS BEING TAMPERED WITH OR ALTERED FROM FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS (OEM OR EDELBROCK) INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE REMOVAL OF THE SUPERCHARGER DRIVE PULLEY, FOR ANY REASON, AS EVIDENCED BY THE TAMPER PROOF LABEL. FAILURE TO PERFORM NORMAL MAINTENANCE AND/OR SERVICE RECOMMENDED OR REQUIRED BY THE MANUFACTURER’S MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE FOR YOUR VEHICLE, OR EDELBROCK, LLC AS APPLICABLE AS WELL AS ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY ANY GRADUAL REDUCTION IN OPERATING PERFORMANCE (WEAR & TEAR). ABUSE RELATED TO OVERLOADING, PCM RECALIBRATION, MISUSE, NEGLIGENCE, ROAD CONDITIONS, UNAPPROVED TIRE SIZE AND/OR TIRE COMPOUND, AND OTHER NON-EDELBROCK APPROVED MODIFICATIONS. EDELBROCK APPROVED MODIFICATIONS ARE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: EXHAUST MODIFICATIONS BEYOND THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER (REFERRED TO AS CAT-BACK OR POST CAT); WHEEL AND TIRE MODIFICATIONS THAT ARE WITHIN FIFTEEN PERCENT (15%) OF OEM OR FACTORY EQUIPPED SIZE (MODIFIED TIRES ARE ONLY ALLOWABLE IF THEY ARE ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) STREET COMPOUND). Also right at the top of the agreement in bold letters is this: YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THIS WARRANTY IS BEING PROVIDED BY TIER ONE WARRANTY AND EDELBROCK CORPORATION ASSUMES NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER IN CONNECTION WITH THIS WARRANTY. Tier One Warranty, LLC was the company that administered the warranty and it's at the top of Eddlebrock's form. When I searched just now I'm seeing things say that they're out of business. Their number is out service and I can't get to their site...not sure what's going on but another similar company will take their place. Keep in mind that they can also sell your warranty contract (like selling a mortgage) to another company, like a US Fidelis for example - who I think is also out of business now. Read some of the comments from people in this complaint that have a Tier One warranty: http://www.complaintsboard.com/compl...s-c190513.html Here are some more examples of things that can happen with a 3rd party warranty: https://www.consumeraffairs.com/auto...s_fidelis.html http://www.stltoday.com/business/us-...073ae3ec5.html http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/USFide...10-Hous-705866 Talking to a person on the phone that works for Eddlebrock is probably the first step I would take if I were still shopping for one. The first thing that I'd ask him is what happened to the place that I would've had my warranty with LOL.

Yup, exactly...just get whatever you're comfortable with that fits your situation. If you can get a warranty, great, but I wouldn't make that the top priority.

Here's how I view the warranty issue. The warranty can be thought of as chance to run out the basic install to discover any fatal flaws in either the equipment itself, or the installation. No reason to hurry up and step outside the warranty window right now. I'm enjoying the setup just as it is and will continue to do so at least through the summer, maybe longer. So far, it's been a fantastic power adder and Edelbrock's support has been excellent
I do plan to do some upgrades at a latter time, but for now, I'll just stick with the basic Edelbrock setup and stay within the warranty conditions. |

Okay well I will not be doing anything bigger I just want a little extra power it took me 20 years to be in a financial position to buy a new camaro ss without sacrificing something in my life I promised myself one day I would own a new ss and supercharge it ( personal reasons I feel this way rip dad ) but I might go to the tracks once a year and the occasional "mexico" street race. I just want something reliable that won't break my wallet. I feel for what I need the procharger is a good option all though I'm not thrilled with their torque number. I like maggie and the edlebrock too I think I would go with the maggie though. And the lt4 I didn't know was so expensive to install on a lt1 so that's out of the question. I got excited about the non in tercooled maggie but after talking to quite a bit of people they don't recommend it

I think the intercooler is a necessity in your area. Its hot here in Missouri for about 4 months, rarely gets over a hundred degrees. Even though I originally started with a non intercooled setup I had always planned to get the intercooler before summer, I'm just starting a little earlier then I planned. The non intercooled package is still a killer setup and could be run full time in a cooler climate without issue. Even with the new setup I'll still run either Meth or E85 at the drag strip.

I think either the Maggie or Eforce will give you the most trouble free power on demand experience that you're looking for. Don't worry, if you were able to get the car and are even in a position to add a ProCharger or Maggie Jr. this soon after getting the car, you'll be able to get the full set up sooner than you think with some planning. And in a few years you may be looking at the next step up, so don't rush into the wrong solution for your long term goals. There might even be something better out by then

It's an insanely satisfying DD. It is the ultimate definition of power on demand.
