In Houston hardly any V8 muscle/sports car is quiet and no matter what mode npp is on with fuse pull it would be considered quiet. Maybe when I'm older I'll wanna tame it down some but yeah the npp was a waste to me.
I'm 44 and it's not loud enough for me. It sounds to me like we are looking for the same sound.

There are definitely changes in volume. It's not that noticeable at idle and cruise though. The Borla setup I have has made it perfect though.

You rtfm pal, the exhaust has nothing to do with the control of the shift points. Maybe could show me the page!

To the OP's question -
I think the NPP is worth getting. You really won't know if you'll like it long term or if it's loud enough for you until you drive it awhile. If you are planning to mod your car, you're gonna spend some bucks anyway. I would get it and drive it around awhile. It's all subjective, many like the NPP and find it plenty loud enough in Track mode or with the fuse pull. I liked mine, but got bored and got the Borla Atak
