Camaro Issues / Problems | Warranty Discussions | TSB and Recalls

- This is the #1 biggest problem thread and most posts/views on any other section of this part of the forum!!!! Does that tell you something GM?

I see that "Chevrolet customer service " has commented in at least 8 other threads today but sadly not this thread where so many of us are continually having issues.

Just in case GM is listening, I'm another guy that would already have a 17 SS in the garage if it weren't for the rear end issues. So, it is costing you customers.

I bought my car last January, not a single groan from the rear last year. This year its horrendous. There is definitely something wrong. Gm says its normal, then why the f didn't this happen last winter? Lies. Gm can go bankrupt again, F them.

Man I feel for all you guys that are going thru this BULL$H!T with your new Camaro! There is nothing worse than buying a new car and having problems with it immediately right out of the box! I'm sure if I jumped on getting a 17' SS a few months ago I would be losing sleep over this problem with you guys! I really WANT a new 17' SS but , I don't NEED the headaches that it will ultimately give me from this problem that GM cannot and will not fix! I'm staying away from the Gen6 Camaro like the Plague!

I started getting the noise at around 1500 miles when the diff was cold turning corners. Bought some OEM diff fluid and changed it myself and haven't had any noises since then and i'm at 11,000 miles now. Would rather spend the money and do it myself then take it to a dealer.

Add mine to the list. Just less than 2000 miles on mine.

Bought the fluid myself and changed it in my shop. It made the noise go away for now. 1000 miles since I changed it.

I must say after 418 posts here that there must be something more you can do then email or call our dealers and add a layer of whatever. It is now beyond multiple trips to dealers for many, GM needs to solve this once and for all and put a recall on the freaking thing. Very nice of you to come on this thread so many have been looking for you guys, i mean really, but if its just minor talks to service departments then for me and some others i presume its not helping or going to....

So am I. My SS dumped all its coolant/overheated, with 11psi of oil pressure and the water pump failed within 50 miles of ownership. So the dealer bought it back from me.

I'm not going near another one until these issues are fixed b/c they're far from one-offs. And a $35K+ car shouldn't have all the issues this car is having. No vehicle should.
