2017 Convertable top rattle

Hi all.
I did a search and did not find anything so far.

When I have the top up, I frequently hear a rattle that sounds like it is coming from the top mechanism / trunk area on the passenger side.

I have not noticed the rattle when the top is down.

Anyone else have this issue?
Thanks!

No rattle, but I do have a bit of an air leak on the driver's side. Sounds like it's near where the two side windows meet. Hard to tell . Mostly noticeable about 60 mph and up. Minor, but enough to hear it.

Same area on mine. Only when im on older, more porous streets that are not smooth. Once I get up to about 40, it disappears.
At first I though it was the license plate area; if you lay under the car & look up behind the license plate, it looks like that panel is very close to the frame & may be rattling against it.

Someone else here had suggested that it may be the anchor for the seat belt mount on rear passenger side. Said he took the cover off that side & a bracket or something may be rattling. Let us know if you figure it out.

Yes. I have it as well and I am also the one that suspects the seat belt anchor swiveling into the panel. I haven't driven the car since I put some foam in it, but it is supposed to be nice the next few days.

I did notice this morning that with the top down, I didn't hear the rattle. Well, i heard something, but it wasnt the normal rattle- it was like something was TRYING to rattle but didnt.

So, what within the frame does the top put pressure on while it's down is the question.

I had a rattle/squeak at low speeds. Only heard it when the top was up. Dealer had to remove the back seat and replace a clip or something. If you don't find it I can pull the service report and see if it has more detailed information.

Andy - Same exact problem! That's mine exactly. Have you had it fixed? Mine is very noticeable. And annoying.... Passenger side is fine.

Exactly. Think I might have this as well. Hear it coming from behind me on the drivers side. Almost like a rattle/chirp when going over uneven roads/bumps.

Have actually heard it from both sides but much more so on the driver side. It almost sounds like it's coming from where the top mounts go in under the retractable covers. Hard to tell though while you're driving. Lol.

I heard this for the first time yesterday. I was doing 35-40 on a somewhat bumpy road. Ridiculously annoying. Also sounds like it's coming from the driver side. There's some snow coming but when gone I will take it out and try to pinpoint what the heck it is.
