Was able to put down a 5.4 with the 2.0t M6 RS... On the second try; no wheel spin what-so-ever, all driver aids were turned off. The manual lets you use the gas without the timer starting with the clutch in... As long as the car didn't roll the timer stayed at '0', there's a 5.2 in the turbo for sure as I'm far from a professional, i have been driving manuals for my entire driving life mind you (14 years or so). The V6 must be able to pull off a 4.9 I'd think?

I was the only one in the car with less than a 1/4 tank of gas....launched at 2800-2900rpm

Yup, there WAS a 5.2 in it

yea but what's that metric 5.2 converted into US seconds?
Would be nice if the timer didn't start on auto's until the speed registered greater than 0. I only get to launch from idle using the in-car timer. |

![]() That would be agitating about the timer; makes the timer impossible to use for comparisons between the M6 and A8. The timer should be set at 0-97kph for an accurate 0-60mph comparison, but I've had no luck in setting up the timer in anything but 5kph increments. I guess I should add that this time had zero wheel spin basically (just a slight chirp), it was about +3C here today and I'm around 450ft above sea level. In the timer, in US version.. it's set at 0-62mph. And you can only do 5mph increments. I.e. 57mph or 67mph. I take it this is the new standard?

I can't remember where I saw it, but someone said they had to bring the setting for the speed to mph, then bring the # for the speed setting all the way down to 0 then back up to 60 and it should let you.

I think when I set my 0-60 timer I put it all the way down to zero then it will go back up in increments of 5 after this.

Hi, just set your timer all the way down until 0 and then go up again, it should give you then 60 and not 62. hope it helps since that is how I "fixed" mine.
