Based on the information display, my lifetime average is between 22 and 23, and my best 50 mile average is 33. When I compare this to manually calculating, it has been very close, maybe 3-4% optimistic. The fuel consumption is on par with my tuned 2.0 turbo GTI, though the fuel cost is 25%+ lower because I run the recommended 87 octane. Of course, another person driving the same car in the same conditions might get completely different numbers. I don't drive very fast but I do spur it every now and then and sometimes cruise at a higher RPM because it sounds great. I rationalize it by claiming I'm preventing carbon build up. |

I work about 25 miles from home. Going is usually no traffic...coming home I always catch traffic. I also do a little driving around town, but not a whole lot. My last tank I calculated manually and it was 24.7 . My 92 miata would get about 26mpg (27 was the best I ever saw) under similar conditions, so I think the camaro does pretty good for what it is.

I have about 7500 miles, 80/20 or so highway. Computer average is about 29 and hand calculated is around 27.5. Best tank was 29.6.

I live in Center City Philadelphia so I do about 80% City 20% highway. With the 6 speed manual I get 23 mpg on avg.

This is what I wanted to hear. My driving to/from work is 95% 60MPH highway driving. I want a V6 1LE as a daily driver. 25MPG would be great, about the same as my 2006 Mazdaspeed6.

I drive mostly city, some highway each week...not necessarily stop and go, but many red lights along my commute to work. I reset my trip meter which resets the avg MPG meter along with it each time I fill up. I average between 21-24 MPG, typically shifting at or below 3k RPM, with the occasional getting on it. My best for one week so far is 26 MPG/420 miles to a tank.

I drive the car like i stole it whenever i can. Short term mileage gets down around 18mpg. It averages out to mid 20's. If i manage to have a reason to do some highway driving, up into the 32mpg avg range. Best 50 has been 34mpg. Past 1000 has been mid 20's.

I drive it like I stole it.
Overall average 18.7 mpg Mostly city driving HWY can get 28-36 mpg I have driven a powerstroke 7.3 diesel for the last 10 years so I am used to 20 mpg or less! Regular unleaded

V6 M6- drive is mostly stop and go. Average around 21mpg. With more highway driving, very easy to hit 25mpg or better.

highway driving at that low speed would pretty much be ideal for good gas mileage. Mid 20s should be a problem.
