[QUOTE=D2enigma;9356651]I used plasti-dip for mine which turned out pretty good.

Anyway you can post some pictures? I was thinking of going this route when I get this splitter since rock chips will mess up the paint anyway.

So, thanks to the recommendation of Luis13RS, I decided to give Autodip a try. Painting is costly and the potential for rock chips really helped persuade me...here are the results. I like it, and in person, it looks pretty good for what it is.

P.S. sorry for the potential thread jack OP.

Yes, correct. It is not matte. The poor lighting didn't pick up the glossiness very well, it is pretty glossy in person. It looks pretty good. Plastidip is matte and sometimes leaves a textured finish which many don't like. I found this product to be a lot easier to apply than plastidip. (I know, plastidip is pretty simple). The glossifier paired with plastidip works well however, all-in-all, I preferred using this product.

Nice man how much was the Autodip and how much did you use? Make sure to post some pics with it on with good lighting so we can see how it looks.

is there any hardware to install the splitter, or is it only held on by that 3m tape?

Autodip was 45 shipped I believe. A little pricey but much less than painting it. I'll get some pictures tomorrow, going to a hockey game this evening so it'll have to wait!

It uses the stock screws that are already in the bumper. There are also 4 additional screws for the sides of the splitter that can be drilled into the bumper. They supply you with adhesive promoter as well however, mine was completely dried out and useless when I receieved it. And then of course it has the 3M tape.
