LT4 S/C conversion. GM T-MAP sensor?

I am putting a LT4 S/C on my 16 2SS. I am trying to get my ducks in a row and not run into any issues with the install.

All the factory GM blowers run two MAP sensors and the second MAP has the IAT sensor in it on the rear of the case to read boost and post rotor IAT temps. Is it possible to add this to our current harness or pin it to the ECM? I am assuming that GM redid the harness for the ZL1 to make this work like the C7Z's. What would I have to turn on in the computer to read it and provide the correct data?

I ordered the Magnusson HX and pump kit to splice together. Reading their instructions, the Maggi seems to just use the factory MAP sensor and a break out IAT harness and EVAP harness. I will buy the harness if that is my only option. Will the factory MAP sensor read 2 BAR?

Looking at the Edlebrock instructions they seem to be using a T-MAP sensor and provide data for it. I really don't want to have to drill this blower for a stand alone IAT sensor. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This is the guy who did the first swap on his Stingray. He also fabbed the adapter plates you need.

Why not use the Edelbrock harness? It has the right breakout for the TMAP sensor.

Thanks for the link. I will check it out. I have the adapter plates. I am pretty sure I am 100% on hard parts. Now it is harnesses and wiring.

I couldn't actually find instructions for the Edlebrock to go through. I just saw where they offered TMAP data. I was also reading through a thread I believe you started comparing the IAT readouts between the systems. Do I just use GM TMAP from a 16 V or Z? I am assuming all the aftermarket kits are only running one sensor. I am sure I could just plug off the front sensor hole or use it as an in car boost gage.

Here's the link to the E-Force installation manual.

http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/.../1000/1559.pdf

The manifold adapters came with the TMAP already installed so I can't give you any specific info on the TMAP used. Couldn't find the TMAP on the parts list either. It has to be a somewhat standard sensor in that it's a direct connection.

Good luck with this project!

If you must absolutely have that temp reading than get the tmap sensor from edelbrock as well as their harness. I am sure Summit Racing could get that for you.

Since you guys seem to have pioneered this swap on the Camaros, how are you running yours? Your install is very clean and works. I said it before and I will say it again, I don't know how you guys have your prices set as they are with what I have put in so far. Are you running a breakout IAT sensor that you had to put in the manifold somewhere? Or are you just using the IAT's from the MAF? My only concern is with tuning and not having a way to pull timing with accurate post rotor IAT's. Which MAP sensor are you guys using and where is it placed?

This is my first PD build/swap. I have tuned a few GM's with factory PD blowers and I have done a few Centi builds in the past. My question on the PD set ups is that the MAP has to be post rotor to measure boost correct? The MAP sensor in the snout will only read up to 105KPA and max vacuum since it won't be pressurized? I may be thinking about it incorrectly. I am just looking to keep it simple an use products that already exist.

any updates on this. Im wanting to do this swap as well and im trying to come up with a complete hard parts list that keeps it looking as factory as possible like the ADM swap.
