I'm with you guys... I'm still trying to get used to my 2016 Camaro 6 ss engine ticking noise. It's very annoying when I'm driving in traffic and the revs and speed are low. I'm contemplating on if I should get it checked out.

I am having a very similar problem with my 2ss - when the car's rpm is around 1.5 - 3k, the ticking is very loud under low acceleration and deceleration from 40mph down to 20mph a. It annoyed me for 2 hours while I was stuck in traffic today... Is there any ticking now after getting your engine replaced on your ss? Or is the noise completely gone?

It's the injectors

Now that I did my headers I can hear them more. The post below me got me a little nervous. It's at all Rpms to include idle. Always there from cold start to warm. I don't have any power loss or any issues either. I think I'm just being paranoid.
So how do they (I'm assuming lifters) sound for you guys (with windows up you can hear better).
Just want to make sure I'm good before I put on the intake and tune it.
I posed the question about the noise to one of the Chevy engine designers because I noticed it on my 2012 and also on Corvettes. He confirmed that it is the direct injection. Lots of pressure there
