Price of PDR = $1300 on 1SS 1LE (I think)

From C&D Lightning lap:
Base price = $44,400
As Test Price = $45,700

Isn't the only option on the 1SS 1LE the PDR package?? If so, it's $1300.

Could very well be, price seems inline to where it should be.

I should have mentioned that the only other option I'm aware of on the SS 1LE is colors (Hyper Blue, Garnet Red, Yellow cost extra). The 1LE being tested was white.

Well, given that we've seen hints that NAV and PDR are separate options on a Camaro and NAV is 495.00.. It's reasonable to think that PDR is 1300.

The Corvette's integrated PDR/NAV is exactly 1,795.00.

1795 - 495 = 1300.

So that does add up.

Is there pictures of this car. Are the magazines out on stands or online?

Since they are 90% of the way there so far as equipment goes, then why don't they just offer nav as well for the extra $495? I do not think that it would add any weight at all seeing as how the PDR already has to have the GPS module/antenna anyway right?

We have a group of drivers who regularly go to Arkansas, Hill country in Texas, East Texas and have been to Deals Gap (Tail of the Dragon) as well. There are several areas around there where cell phone reception is spotty to non existent and having built in nav is a plus, especially as we are not out there enough to really know all of the roads, and we have actually discovered new roads by just looking on the gps and seeing what was out there.

This is not to say that it is a deal breaker by any means, but like I said earlier, just about all of the equipment is already present once you have the PDR so why not offer it?

Unlike Corvette. The PDR isn't force locked to NAV apparently, since we have 1LT/1SS trims that don't have the NAV available, but do have the PDR option.

This required (I'm guessing) a de-coupling of the system that the Corvette models did not require. Thus the independent options for NAV and PDR. But, adding them up, the total cost is the same 1,795 as on a Corvette with the bonded system.

The 1SS 1LE is white and the V6 1LE is red. There's pictures of both. I couldn't find the October C&D locally (and couldn't wait any longer), so just signed up for the 6 months of the digital version for $6 on the C&D website. Then you can view it right away.

Thank you! Sploosh, that looks fantastic!

Also, I'm pretty sure PDR has now made it onto my "do want" list.
