Happy to report that the powertop z23 pads are no noise and basically fix the dust problem completely and have more of s linear feel..

Other impressions, so far i dont feel the need for more power or mods. I think the npp is a good sounding exhaust when on the throttle. But, if i had it to do over i would have gone without and done an axle back, there just isnt enough thump at idle and honestly id rather it sounded the same all the time.. Too accustomed to drone. Feel similarly about the mrc its nice but not a huge difference from one end to the other on rough roads around here. I think the radio has a large hole in the midrange and the highs are tinny. Still love every minute behind the wheel in spite of those few things. The car itself just begs to be tracked and is at its best on winding roads.

I'll post again next month when i buy winter tires. Its between blizzaks and x ice right now.

Thanks for the feedback on the brake pads. Was wondering how they were doing for you.

Have you done the fuse pull on the NPP?

I've done the fuse pull, honestly there is not a lot of difference between there and track mode to my ear. Just a bit different on the highway is about it. I'd rather sound level be close to how it is for the first minute after cold start with the valves open.

My hope was I could skip any mods by getting the npp. It's good enough for the next year, i'll probably end up with an axle back. My comment is based on the fact that they are just stinking expensive compared to non npp versions.

I agree on the NPP. I like the sound but I like a deeper growl. I probably won't change though because quite frankly, I'm cheap.

Maybe it's because I'm older, but I like the sound as it is. Also like to be able to change the sound when I want to.

Love that Fifty. Saw one up close at my dealership, so nice. Yours is nicer though...

Boy I wish I lived in a place with open parking lots. I'm from St. Louis but I live in Los Angeles and parking my car is a risk I take every time I drive it.

Thanks Coralyn!

Lots open parking lots here. I can't imagine driving in LA. It would mess with my OCD/Anxiety.

From the old man in the group!

Considering the SS was a 60th birthday present from me to me, I thought this was appropriate.
