The only companies that I know that compares to Roush and Mopar would be Hennessey, Callaway and Lingenfelter. Those are the only ones I know, there could be more.

+1 for the guys at JDP Motorsports. They've always been very well informed with competitive pricing.
Took care of me on many occasions with my Gen5 and now have begun helping with all my Gen6 needs! |

I haven't picked up my SS yet, that happens Saturday.
There any big pro/cons to the A8 vs the M6 as far as aftermarket power modifications go? |

If you are only doing bolt ons, I don't think anyone on here has had issues with the M6 and A8. Turbo, SC, or nitrous? Not sure. A few have gone this route, but I don't know if they have had breaking points. One member had a busted rear axle using slicks and a M6 and I think he was pretty much stock.

I went to get to at least 500hp at the crank without a supercharger or turbos. Wonder what the goto route would be for that.

That's it? A tune, cold air, and headers will get you there. I picked up 20 or so HP and torque to the wheels just from a tune and ported throttle body. Now we have a cold air intake and plan on looking into a E85 tune. Easily going to have over 500 at the crank, but who really measures at the crank when modifying a car?

Our website has hours of videos of various Camaro's we have done builds for mild to wild. With your goals of 500 flywheel HP we have a couple different options you go could do. When talking to people about these type of builds we like to ask what does the future hold for you and your car? Do you have larger HP aspirations next year or the year after? How do you want the car to drive and sound? We can offer stealthy options or obnoxious ones if you so choose. |

You silly SS owners and your aftermarket and boltons.
Leave that Pay to Win game and try being hardcore and get a V6 and work for your hp increases. Best HP mod so far for the V6 is the gym. In case you were wondering. |

I've also used Steve from the RDP Store www.rdpstore.com. They are also a Forum Sponsor. Purchased my Borla exhaust from them. Hands down they have 100% Customer service! Even answered some of my "silly" questions on a Sunday!
