I realized I haven't posted a pic of my car since the day it was delivered. I went for a much needed run today at a local park (haven't done that either in about a week) and snapped this pic. I posted this in the official black thread as well:

Thanks. In addition to tint and brakes, I wouldn't mind getting center caps from River City Creations with the bowties filled in with black. I think it would look good with the other black bowties and haven't seen any pics of one yet with it. I just need to get over my complex of it being new and"tampering" with it lol.

I know the feeling. I debated waiting on tint. As well as a few other things I'm planning.

Is anyone thinking of getting a clear bra or full clear thing (can't remember what it's called) for their front? I've already got some road wear from driving on our 3rd world streets here in Los Angeles. It's expensive but may be worth it in the long run.

Just washed her up. I really hate driving her when she's dirty. It's embarrassing when she's so pretty clean. But hard to keep her clean without a garage - Los Angeles is very dusty and with all these wildfires it's really bad. It won't rain for another 4-5 months so the air is just gross. But here she is with her mom parked behind her LOL! Just ordered a plate frame for the van that says "My Other Car Is A Chevy Camaro SS". Almost got one that said "I'd Rather Be Driving My Camaro". Can't wait until it arrives.

I got my car back today! They replaced the master cylinder and my clutch feels better than ever. I've tried to replicate the problem from earlier and it seems to be gone so I think it's cured!

I missed my car so much. I'm so glad it's home! The atrocities I faced when it was in the shop... unspeakable... I drove an Equinox around for 3 days... ugh.

Funny story; when I picked the car up, I stopped by the show room to see Becky but she wasnt there. Instead I talked to Joe for a while and he asked me how it was to have my car back. I commented on how driving an Equinox for 3 days was agony and he kinda laughed. Then he told me about how, in his past, he was an advocate for loaning Camaro's to customers when their cars were in the shop; he thought it would be a good way to spread the Camaro experience to the unindoctrinated. However, they ran into a problem... Many times, when the customers car was fixed, they would frequently come up with a reason to not pick their car up right away. Basically they didnt want to bring the Camaro back, lol!

I feel your pain! I was in a Volt for 3 days when they fixed mine. We are indeed a spoiled bunch!

Emily will remain front plate less, braless and topless! L😂L! That didn't sound politically correct!

As for the tint, I'm not a big fan of film tint but I would do privacy glass in a heartbeat. Too bad we live in Komifornia where everything seems to be illegal. Good thing they still allow us to drive Camaros. If it were up to the politicians we'll probably be all in hybrid vehicles.

I considered it but probably not. I'm not sure what it even costs though.

Thanks. Glad you car is back and working properly. My DD is an Equinox. The AWD is nice in the winter and its roomy for passengers but if your normal car is a Camaro I can see the disappointment. It's functional but not real "fun."

XPEL is the the way to go .. Front nose , mirror fronts and back rockers !
