4200 miles...bad valve lifter
First off...I have owned 5 Camaro's in my life, and this is the first one I have had engine problems with. Two days ago my wife was driving our 2016 Camaro 1SS which only has 4200 miles on it, and she told me that the STABILTRAK and CEL light came on and the engine started ticking and running rough. When she arrived at home I had a bad feeling from the noise it was the valve lifters, so we had it towed to the Chevrolet dealership which confirmed that our new Camaro has a bad valve lifter. Has anyone else had this issue with the new vvt LT1?

Maybe AFM issue? ask if it is one of the AFM lifters involved.

Had it happen to our 11 Silverado. Replaced all DOD lifters under warranty and then no issues after that. As a preventative maintenance measure, they also replaced our G8's per a TSB just to make us feel at ease.
