Driving within one's own "comfort zone" isn't a matter of being PC, it's just good common sense. Even on a road course at an HPDE track day. For some people, including Camaro owners, maybe that zone ends at around 110 mph.
I did a ride-along at RPDE/Las Vegas that got up to around 160, maybe 165 down the straights. That wasn't nearly as impressive or interesting as the lower speeds held through the turns. Norm

fastest is 171 in my ss, it feels like it had more but I didn't haha. 170 is plenty fast for me. does anyone know what the ss is limited at?

I ran a few acceleration simulations (a pretty decent spreadsheet that I've been tinkering with for a very long time that considers lots of different things) and ended up with 171 for a 5th gen non-1LE SS. Your 6th gen is probably good for a couple, maybe 3 mph more unless there's a MPH limiter stepping in first.
