Golf clubs in GEN6 Trunk

Does anyone know if you can fit a set iof golf clubs in the trunk?

They fit in my Gen5, getting a Gen6 in few weeks and I was curious.

Thanks

The feedback I've read so far is that the bag and clubs other than the driver will, but the modern 46" (or longer) driver will not.

Someone in possession of the car will be able to confirm.

Don't play golf myself, but the trunk is surprisingly roomy. Wouldn't doubt at all that a set of clubs would fit.

Maybe just put down the back seat plenty of room to fit my 10x10 canopy in there I can't imagine golf clubs would be an issue.

I just checked, golf clubs will not fit, you need to fold down seats.

I drive a 2LT convertible and the golf clubs fit nicely in the back seat. I put my clubs in the back seat and can fit my folding 3 wheel cart in the trunk with room to spare.

I had to go to a carry bag from my big bag. I still can't get my driver and 5 wood in the trunk, I put it in the front passenger seat/floor. Didn't buy it for the trunk, bought it for the performance.

That's why my sport is basketball. It's cheap to play, cheap for equipment, and you can fit everything you need in the passenger seat.

For the trunk opening, 6th gen vs 5th then, is the distance from the bottom of the opening (by the bumper) to the top part of the opening (near the glass) smaller on the 6th gen? I ask because sometimes I put a pelican case in the trunk of my 5th gen and the case clears with little remaining room.

A deal breaker for me. A 45" driver will not fit. If I removed my driver i could get the rest of my big in the trunk no problem. But even trying to just put the driver in the trunk wouldn't work at any angle on many attempts. Rear seat down no problem, but for me that's the equivalent of a hatchback 2 seater without the convenience of a hatchback. Wait, that's a Corvette but it does have the convenience of a hatchback.

You could have the bag in the trunk and your driver in the back seat I guess.

For me this is important. My clubs are in the trunk 9 months out of the year and driving around with mybrear seat down all the tine was a big deal. I would likely have a Gen6 in my garage if not for this.
