Just returned from getting 2 coats of CQUARTZFINEST and having the windows tinted 20%.

Detailing was done by Andrew Holders @ Holder's Detailing LLC in Wichita, KS.

Detailing process and products:

-Wheels and calipers cleaned with Adam's Deep Wheel Cleaner. Protected with CarPro Reload.
-Tires and Fender wells cleaned with Shine Supply's Solution. Tires finished with Adam's Tire Shine.
-For the wash, mixture of Shine Supply's Solution and Adams Car Shampoo. This helped to strip any protection off the paint prior to polishing. Next the car wash sprayed down with CarPro IronX to help soften up any contaminants and iron particles. Next, clayed the paint and glass, rinsed and dried.
-Polishing consisted of using the a Rupes 21 polisher to complete the majority of the polishing duties. Meguiars microfiber cutting pad and Shine Supply Classic Cut removed the majority of the defects while a Griot's Boss finishing pad and Shine Supply's Classic Polish finished it out.
-After polishing was completed the paint was wiped down with CarPro's Eraser to remove all polish and prep the paint for the coating.
-The paint was coating in CarPro CQuartz which gives 2 years of protection.

I truly am glad I let my wife pick the color haha, I was just gonna get a white one! Not that there is anything with the white but man... Garnet Red I am just in love with. I will let the wife choose the ZL1 exterior color as well but after the garnet red... I am having a very hard time to even THINK about any other color haha.

Yeah wise choice! Not a huge fan of white cars. GR stands out in a good way.

I used the Meguiar's Ultimate products and love my result. A black car gives you a beautiful reflection and as the colours lighten, getting a mirror-like reflection is hard. That being said...I'm very pleased with the result on my yellow RS
