What a surprise !!!

My car was built on May 2nd. Since then my dealership and GM customer service had no clue how to track it. So I asked my dealership to link my Onstar which they did. Tried to track it with no luck, someone mentioned here that Onstar tracking doesn't work in Canada, which doesn't surprise me. I have been checking my car's diagnostic status every few hours for a few days on Onstar APP, until today I saw that the milage increased by 1 KM

So got excited and thought it finally moved lol I went shopping today and decided to take a run to the dealership to check their lot. I was in for a big surprise

Bad news is, I only get it on Tuesday :( which is not bad considering I waited for over 3 months to get it lol

Wow, May2 and you have it or almost anyway. Mine was built April 4 and is still in Toledo has not moved in weeks. Sat at factory for a month as well. She is a beauty hope you have a great time with her.

thats ridiculous. GM should at least compensate you, some took a week from built day to receive it and some a few , but almost 2 months thats outrageous. I hope you get yours soon to enjoy whats left of the summer lol and thanks

The waiting game is one of the most frustrating parts of the whole process. However, the contract does say that they have 90 days to get you your vehicle. With the transportation, there's different aspects to take into account. One is, that they're transported by truck (truck only holds 5-9 vehicles depending on size of vehicles), they have to have a full truck heading to the same location, then once it crosses the border, ANOTHER truck has to pick it up from the depot, which is headed to YOUR area.

The conclusion is a forever big smile that you will have beyond the 90 days or less it took to get the car.

mine took more than 90 days from the day I placed the order since it took them a month to get allocation. But you're right once you have the car you forgive everything

Congratulations Juventus! I too got the dealership to activate OnStar for me but the Vehicle Tracking function is only valid in the US due to Canadian privacy laws, or something like that... I was checking the mileage every 24 hours last week but the car stop responding last Wednesday so I think I may have killed the battery! Oops.

I'm getting married on Saturday and getting on a plane to Europe for three weeks on Monday so I'm DESPERATE for this car to show up so I can park her safe and sound in the garage... The wait is killing me!!

Yes I did

and talked to GM customer service and they were finally useful and called the dealership to apply the $750 offer.
