GM and Lyft announced today that they will have autonomous vehicles pick us up within a year.

Maybe they can get your car picked up off their lot prior. Or maybe they are waiting to deliver it via autonomous transport. No more drivers needed.

In the beginning, after build verification (4 weeks), it was available to ship for 3 weeks, no carrier load. Then two weeks of a QC hold, and now two weeks waiting for transport again....

Call your dealer on Tuesday morning. Ask if they can match you to allocation. If they can't, start calling other dealers. Don't play the waiting game. They (but not Becky) will just keep stringing you along. An 1100 status means absolutely nothing or than the dealer has talked to you and taken an order. GM has not accepted it and you can sit there for weeks or months.

Spend some time here on the boards and read up. I wish I had.

Does not make sense. I understand the QC hold. They want to try to minimize any warranty issues later on. I respect them to some degree for that double check mentality. But transportation issues??? more than a week of that??? Unless your dealer is really, really off the path and getting nothing else but your car, IT MAKES NO SENSE!
