I'm glad that you got your seat fixed
however, many of us on here have always had a seat that reclines that much. My passengers want a seat that reclines more into a prone position.....ideal for a nap on a long trip. I wonder if there is a fix for that. You would need to move the seat forward, but then recline it back, perhaps a caddy seat motor swap? |

It must be from memory settings, or heated/ventilated or some other reason....My 5thGen goes way back farther to flush with the rear seat.
The seat back on the 6thGen does angle back, but I would hardly call that reclined. Too bad it does'nt fully "recline". It is a nice feature for passengers and some cargo needs. Last edited by 90503; 04-06-2016 at 05:51 PM. |

![]() Heres mine all the way down and fully reclined. It does seem to have a better reclining angle the more you lower the seat. Problem is it can get tough seeing the area in front of the car. I just wish it reclined another inch or two. Im not lookin to lay down flat just a bit more recline. My passenger seat is frozen it wont recline forward or back so its getting to be a common issue with these cars. Luckily its frozen all the way in the reclined postion but a dealer visit needs to be done. Its just a PITA getting there with work and all.

My 99 Vette did not recline at all, so this is fine.

Its probably because of the ventilated seats.

Darn, those are disappointing picks. My seats already go back that far, I was hoping they would recline all the way to touch the back seat in a more reclined position for my crybaby girlfriend.

As far as I'm concerned the 2016 seats are unacceptable if that's as far as they recline! I hope GM addresses this and will fix it!

correct... it comes damn close but does not touch, and why the seat is set to not recline more....bottom line is they shortened the car from the prev gen and that means shortened EVERYWHERE

If greater recline was eliminated for no good reason in the 6th, it should be changed back to what most took for granted. They can address this, even in the middle of this years run, and offer an upgrade or rework. |
