Complain to SiriusXM. It's up to the app developers of the particular apps to add support for Android Auto, not the other way around.

Works in the C7 and the Gen6 on a Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge. Both have marshmallow installed.

It may just be an issue with the S7.

Does it come factory with 6.0 or did it come with 5.0? If it comes with 5.0 and you updated the phone you can download Samsung Kies and revery to the older version of Android.

Hope that helps with those having an issue with it

Service dept took 3 hours to install AA and then 4 hours to install for both cars. Needless to say I was highly annoyed before I left the dealership

I rented a Challenger before I bought my SS. I liked the text interface, I could talk to text and send. It wasn't limited to pre typed messages. Does the Android Auto fix this issue? Which app works for talk to text and send?

Wow! 3 hrs? I'm going in dealer 8am, hope I'm not here till 11. I don't understand why it takes some 40mins, and others 3hrs??? Unreal. BTW, I can test a T-Mobile s7 to see if AA works ok.

Hour and a half later......they still working on it. They are clueless!

Hangouts is the default message app for AA, supposedly that will allow that.

Oh jeez...this is why I hate going to a dealer for service, something as simple as this shouldn't take this long.

I specifically asked the service manager if they had the update, and knew how to do it before I brought it in. Well.....they are scratching their heads, they can't get it to update. This truly is a joke. 4 hrs....idiots. I hate dealers. BTW...SW is up to 84089010. If anyone is planning on this, make sure your dealer truly has all their equipment up to date. If its not, you will be waiting for hours.

Remember AA is still very new. I would suspect "big" name apps will be coming soon. Although Waze has been "coming soon" for several months...

It is, and does. Remember to push your "voice" button on the wheel an extra second or two. A quick push will net you the cars interface, a longer press gets you AA. Hangouts will read regular hangouts messages and texts to you, and all you to create a response via voice to text. It works pretty well. I tried almost a paragraph reply to Wifey and it got it, and sent it no problem.

Kind of yeah... but it's still new. It also could be that a bigger interface / lower resolution makes for easier operation when the car is moving, as that's the point of AA to begin with, to keep people from meddling with their phones in motion. Hopefully they'll add something in the future that will take advantage of it. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I thought I read somewhere AA only outputs at 480p. Betting myLink is 720p.

My Google-fu failed me on this. Found lots of info about Android and scaling UI / resolutions, but nothing directly talking about AA.
