Got the 2016 Camaro Chevy Performance exhaust (axle-back) installed!! [VIDEOS INSIDE]

I got the Chevy Performance single tip axle back performance exhaust installed Tuesday and it is amazing. The tips at 4 inches and it makes the car look less bulky and ugly from the old exhaust... I dhated the look with the long tank looking exhaust.Coming from a V6 2014 camaro and upgrading the mufflers on that car I had an idea of how I wanted my car to sound. Right off the bat the stock exhaust on the 2016 v8 2ss is quiet up until you floor it.....it is great for stock but not what I wanted. The aftermarket exhausts are much cheaper but I want to keep my car OEM even if it cost alittle more. The new exhaust feels stronger and more aggressive...every time I shift gears it make a loud but sexy pop noise and it is amazing!! I am having so much fun driving my A8 in manual mode... The exhaust has me giggling like a little kid but I love it. Now all I need is the Chevy cold air intake.... can't wait!

Show some pics! Not too many people have the performance exhaust yet. I was debating about getting it because while the NPP is neat, I honestly would keep it in track mode 90% of the time anyway so not really sure it makes sense to even have it there.

Nice look, I spoke with a chevy salesman yesterday and informed him of the aftermarket cai & exhaust available for the camaro's & he was surprised to hear about it. But, $400.00 for a CAI?

Where did you find a price for the Chevy CAI? I would be happy to pay that if the product had been released. I can't find anywhere that indicates you can order it. I'm in at $400.

hrm.. i'll have to hear audio. The "pop" you call sexy makes me hesitant. Still no prices on the chevy performance parts site. What did you end up paying?

They can keep the cai for 400. The intake stock is already a cold air intake. You'd basically be paying 400 to swap the stock filter for a cone filter and some insulation of the air box.

I'm not seeing a proven deficiency in the stock intake on a relatively stock engine. The Mishimoto post illustrated exactly what I was talking about the other day. At least they were upfront about the MAF/AFR relationship. What remains to be seen is how much is leaner AFR and how much is actually greater flow? If the stock tube is 4.5" and making 455-460 HP at the top end (greatest CFM demand) why would there be any significant bump in power at the lower RPMs if AFR/spark aren't causing it?

Now on a cam/heads setup there may be true value beyond the stock intake. But right now I think it's one thing appearing as another.

I got NPP and plan on just doing some work after. I think having the option to go silent is beneficial. Especially for the price and resale value aspect of things.

GREAT CAR though! Hope you have a killer time in it! Post some audio though

question for those that do not have NPP exhaust, by changing the drive mod settings under exhaust does there exhaust sound any different without the NPP or is the setting not there due to not having Npp.
